Click here for underage drinking statistics (Illinois Youth Survey) Every two years in Illinois, the Illinois Department of Human Services’ Division of Community Health and Prevention conducts the Illinois Youth Survey (IYS), a survey of 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th grade students asking them to self-report their use of various illicit substances, alcohol among them.
